About Author

My maiden name Carla Christine Campbell was often shortened to “soup” or even “hey, chicken noodle” by good friends and foes alike. I was born in Bay City, Michigan almost 80 years ago. I grew up on the other side of the state in Muskegon Heights. I loved growing up in the 1950’s as they were good to me. I graduated in 1958 from Muskegon Heights High School where I attended classes for four years with black and white students, a positive learning tool for all.
